Our mission is to inspire young men to strive for academic excellence, build strong character, and reach their highest potential as future responsible citizens and ethical leaders in a global community.

Carson Long enjoys a diverse student population, each year representing about a dozen foreign nations and 12 to 15 states in the United States.

Cadet Academic Life

Carson Long follows a modified block schedule, with 4 classes on “A” days and 4 other classes on “B” days, a system which has been shown to benefit students by providing more opportunities for electives and better time management abilities for getting help and completing homework.

DSC_0086Enrolling boys in grades 6-12, Carson Long provides a safe, supervised campus environment; small classes that allow for individualized instruction; and a variety of academic enrichment opportunities, leadership activities, and educational and recreational programs.

Carson Long is a member of the Association of Military Colleges and Schools of the United States, the National Association of Independent Schools, and the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools.
